Vintage Top - Huipil (M)

This darling Guatemalan Huipil features colorful embroidery in Maroon Mahogany base, with with white stripe details. Hand-woven on a back-strap loom, this soft Huipil is originally from Colotenango, Guatemala.

 Colotenango tops are known to be short, relatively wide and worn hanging loose outside the corte (traditional Mayan skirt). 

This top will add a geometric and flashy style to your wardrobe. Wear it with denim or linen pants for a casual picnic day in the sun, or spice it up with a skirt and boots for a fun night out on the town! Either way you wear it, heads will turn towards your stylish self.

• Sizes are a "fits like" guide and not a standard measurement
• This Huipil will fit a Small to Medium frame - this top runs wide but SHORT
• Bust (armpit to armpit): 29” inches wide
• Length: 18"-19” inches long
• This Huipil is closed at the sides

• Condition: Generally good pre-loved condition with a some loose threads and wear. 

• This vintage Huipil was personally purchased by Angelica, founder of Tesoros Maya. This Huipil was ethically sourced and the artisan was paid fair price.

Care: 

• Not suitable for machine dryers, dry on a flat surface
• To ensure this blouse has a long life, we recommend washing it by hand or on a delicate spin cycle only
• This traditional blouse was 100% handmade from beginning to end; therefore, naturally, there will be some imperfections
