Vintage Top - Coban

Detailed with hand-embroidery, this vintage Huipil (traditional blouse) is originally from the region of Coban, Guatemala.

This stunning piece features an array of embroidered deer & geometric patterns in tawny brown earth tones, with some ginger orange on a cinnamon brown background. Such a unique and rare find!

This particular Huipil is a ‘poncho’ style blouse. This square huipil has not been sewn up on either side, making it ideal to wear over a tank top.

This huipil fits up to a size L, but short torso.

• Condition: Good vintage condition with a some loose threads and wear; mainly around the neckline, but it is not damaged. This blouses has lived a previous life and therefore shows some signs of age and loose thread but it is remarkably in good vintage condition.

• This vintage Huipil was personally purchased by Angelica, founder of Tesoros Maya from Juana. This Huipil was ethically sourced and the artisan was paid fair price.

CARE:

• This Huipil was 100% handmade from beginning to end; therefore naturally there will be some imperfections. You could see some loose threads, DO NOT pull just snip with scissors.
