This NEW Mayan throw was hand-woven in the famous city of "Xela" Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
Xela is its much shorter nickname, derived from the old Mayan name for the city, Xelaju. It's pronounced “sheh-la”.
This beautiful handwoven, and eco-friendly throw is the best ethical gift one could receive! This over-sized wrap is customarily used as a shawl, baby wrap or during child birth. I promise it will last a lifetime and keep you cozy wherever you live and whatever you use it for.
Would be great to keep you warm on chilly summer nights or use as a table runner or a throw to add an ethnic look to your home.
