This vintage hand embroidered textile has been repurposed from a vintage Huipil (Mayan blouse) into a table runner. The sides have been finished with a traditional Corte (Mayan skirt) textile in matching and complimentary colors and fridge ends.
This stunning table runner was made using an authentic and vintage Mayan blouse (Huipil) from the Maya village of Tecpan, Guatemala.
Featuring traditional indigenous patterns in pastel colors, the base of this textile is a light violate. If you take a look at this runner sideways, you'll discover an amazing embroidery of a fish. How cool is that?!
This is a perfect centerpiece for your dining room table or just a jewel of textile to brighten your home.
