This beautiful pre-loved Guatemalan Huipil is from the Maya village of San Antonio Palopó, located on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. It was hand-woven on a backstrap loom, 100% handmade with striking multi-color background of blue, purple, white and black stripes that are traditionally of this region.
This is a longer blouse, made with 3 panels, joined together by an embroidered "randa" design. It also features a beautiful hand embroidered design around the neck. It is made from 100% cotton. Handcrafted by Maria and her daughter, you are supporting their weaving techniques with this purchase!
My huipil top is beautiful.
Angelica made sure I was satisfied with my purchase!
I will buy again in future!
This item fits perfect and the embroidery is beautiful. It’s ornate enough to wear for Zoom business meetings and comfortable for cozy days at home. 10/10 recommend all products from this vendor- you will not be disappointed in the quality and crafts-woman-ship!
Super stylish high quality basket. Can be used for many purposes. Also great as a gift.
Beautiful a bit small for me but will wear it with honor with respect for my ancestors
