Entirely handwoven on the traditional backstrap loom by weavers in Sololá, this unique runner features indigo stripes with a maiz jaspe (ikat) design. Maiz, or corn, is the most important crop for the Maya people, the very gift of life from Mother Earth to her children. Background woven of light beige cotton. Hand-twisted fringe. Pairs beautifully with our handwoven indigo napkins.

This eco-friendly pillow is the perfect addition to your home. Made from upcycled, handmade Mayan skirt called "Corte", it has been given new life as a gorgeous accent cushion.

The eye-catching colors of this textile was originally created on a back-strap loom by a female weaver. Its vibrant textile comes from a traditional Corte (traditional Mayan skirt) of the village of Totonicapan, Guatemala.  Additional pom poms were hand made by our artisan partner Zoila to give it extra eco flair.
