By popular demand, we are bringing you these authentic Guatemalan belts for you to wear as it's original form...a belt ("faja"). These are traditional belts from Guatemala used by Mayan women to hold up their skirts. They were entirely hand woven on a back strap loom.
Belts are made in different lengths and widths. Most of them are wrapped several times around the waist with the ends tucked into the skirt.
This handwoven textile belt has two ring closures to make this belt easy to wear and adjust.
If the end is to long for you, you can simply cut the end of the belt to adjust it to your preferred length and leave the ends raw.

Thank you for such a high-quality handmade huipil! Feels like a personal treasure in this world of corporate/factory made products.
I love the hoodie. It is soft and the embroidery is wonderful. This is my second order from Tesoros Maya. Both times I experienced an unusual attention to detail. When the packages arrived, they were like gifts. There were hand written notes and surprises. I will definitely order again.
The pictures on the website do not do this product justice. In person the hair wrap has so many beautiful details. The colors are vibrant and it is long enough for those with long, medium or short hair. Simple instructions are provided but I am excited to learn the different ways to use it in my hair. I have already been inspired to wear this as a necklace and belt. I can't wait to get more!
Loved it. Wish there was another choice w brighter colors but this one is great.
Very well made. Cute idea
